Vilharca

There is a house … with walls, a roof and windows, with rooms and hallways. And then there is a home, whose walls offer a warm shelter and its roof safety, whose windows only let the sun in, keeping dark clouds outside, whose rooms are a peaceful and quiet haven and its halways an opportunity to meet friends, who you share the greatest time of your life with. Current pricelists are valid from October 1st 2022. 
 
 

Student rooms

The Vilharca complex is divided into 2 seemingly separated units one separate room and a studio apartment. Two units together consist of 9 single rooms of different sizes, contemporarily furnished with three big bathrooms with showers and toilets and two separate toilets. Each unit has its own kitchen and together the units have a common living room. Two rooms have an option of being connected for two students who want to move in together or for those who want two rooms. The separate room has two beds and its own kitchen and bathroom facilities. The studio apartment have a king size bed and its own kitchen and bathroom facilities. All rooms have internet connectivity, either via cable and wi-fi and their own fridge.

  • cable and wi-fi internet
  • a bathroom for 2-3 persons
  • social and recreation space indoor and outdoor
  • laundry
  • cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, living room, halls
  • parking
  • participation in all potential Vilharca events

Common spaces

The common rooms are the essence of Vilharca. They offer a space for cooking socializing, relaxation, recreation or the coming up of new ideas and solutions to plan and diversify the life in the vibrant community.

The bigger common room is located in the cellar. It can hold more people and can be used to host events; it is also a place for recreation. In the cellar is a common laundry room.

Besides the inner common spaces people of Vilharca can use the outer spaces as well, especially in nice sunny days since they are perfect for a barbecue or a game of basketball.

Vilharca is located on Vilharjeva street in Ljubljana on the corner of Vilharjeva and Črtomirova street, in the living quarters called Zupančičeva jama where there are many shops, a post office, pharmacy and the vicinity of a public health centre. The building has its own parking so car access is not hindered. It is 100 m away from the central train station, 100 m away from the bus stops of buses 2,12 and 27 and 100 m away from the station of the public bicycle system Bicikelj. Access to most of the faculties of University of Ljubljana is possible on foot, on a bike or on a bus.

Vilharca is also on the walking distance to the city center and to the major meeting point of all the alternative and urban culture in Ljubljana - Metelkova mesto.
